About Gwennie van’t Laarhof
Gwennie van’t Laarhof, sired by the Preferent Indoctro, comes from a small family of excellent sport horses. She is a half sister of Hargento van ‘t Laarhof (Argentinus), shown under the name Deniro. With Piergiorgio Bucci in the saddle, Deniro jumped to great successes at 5* level. They were 1st in Knokke and Villamoura, 5th during the Global Championstour in Hamburg, 2nd in St. Tropez, among others. Later Miklos Csillaghy took over the reins and Deniro continued his winning ways, including a 5* in Geesteren.
Gwennie has already proven herself in production for both amateurs and pros alike. Her son, Jacarto van’t Laarhof (Carabas van de Wateringhoeve) is a dependable favorite for Equitation classes in the Northeast. Her daughter, Katina van’t Laarhof (Epleaser van’t Heike) is also a proven broodmare, producing Stephex’s 1.60m Natan van’t Laarhof (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve). Gwennie’s 2023 filly by Balou du Reventon was sold in utero.
