Sired by Jos Verlooy’s 5* Grand Prix stallion Nixon van ‘t Meulenhof, brother of the Olympic stallion Emerald, crossed with a mare by Casall and the influential thoroughbred stallion Heraldik xx. On the dam side Nasdaq Z is related to the famous Holsteiner stallions Calypso I, II and III, Que Bueno de Hus, who excelled on the GCT/GCL circuit with Henrik von Eckermann, and Askari – sire of Zangersheide’s Asca Z, Pius Schwizer’s Askaria 3 and Simone Blum’s fantastic World Champion mare, DSP Alice.
