Even before his birth, Columbus Z was Christian Ahlmann´s apple of the eye. Christian knew the Baloubet du Rouet mare Beirut 2 from the sport under Kathrin Müller and he always had a soft spot for this competitive and strong mare. So when she was inseminated by world sire Cornet Obolensky, Christian instantly recognised this as a dream marriage. Columbus Z lived up to the high expectations and matured into an attractive stallion who combines his good looks with an athletic and powerful jump. He is an ultra-modern, hot-blooded sport horse who´s quick off the ground. His first crop of offspring have the same assets and received a particularly warm welcome from breeders as well as investors.
