Sired by GFS Lord of the Dance – hailing from Estonian stallion Destello who was an Akhal Teke x Russian Trakehner stallion of rare and proven performance bloodlines. GFS Mikado is something of a rarity in the world of modern sporthorses. His warmblood ancestry is as exotic as his uniquely colored and marked double dilute style!

Mikado’s dam is Westfalian from the approved Trakehner stallion Camaro, one of the most successful colored Trakehner’s to date.

Mikado is owned by Erika Sergent of Sergent Stables LLC. Riders note his calm and easy demeanor, without lacking a strong work ethic. While he is young, he has been quite the popular breeding stallion in the USA. His performance career is unaffected by his breeding opportunities, plenty of evidence that this stallion possesses all of the best traits to build a tremendous legacy.
