This filly is by the successful small tour stallion Dark Pleasure KWPN Breeding Stallion. He is the sire of approved breeding and performance stallions Kaiman (x Gribaldi), It’s A Pleasure (x Zack) and Kings Pleasure (x Johnson). Dark Pleasure is known for producing top riding horses with international quality movement and excellent temperaments.
The dam of this filly, Nahla, combines the blood of Uno Don Diego on a Sandro Hit daughter from a performance proven dam line. This is the same cross that produced ERA Dancing Hit, sire of top PSG and I-1 stallion Hesselhøj’s Donkey Boy. Her dam, Soraya HW, is full sister to Danish Olympic Team horse Selten HW (Anders Dahl) and Grand Prix horse Skywalker HW (Catherine Reid).
Nahla’s sire, Uno Don Diego had an impressive performance career, wining PSG and I-I classes at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival with scores 73%+. Furthermore, before his importation to the USA, he represented Denmark at the World Young Horse Championships as a six-year-old and continued up the levels to advanced. He has sired many successful modern sport horses, most notably Independent Little Me and UNO Day Sun. His son, Independent Little Me (x San Remo) was proclaimed the 2020 KWPN Gelder Horse of the Year and has competed up to PSG/I-1 with Dinja van Liere. His daughter, UNO Day Sun (x Rosoff) just recently won the Danish National Grand Prix at Blue Hors in November 2022 with Kenneth Damgaard.
